Our sport has been under extreme fire, and it is time we all joined together to help keep abreast of the issues we face to protect our rights as hunters. Our voice needs to be heard and The Hunting Trail Network is here to get hunters voices connected. Our voice needs to be heard and in a professional manner. Our goal, with The Hunting Trail Network State by State listing, is to create a Mecca of information that is usable, relevant and promotes our sport in a positive light. Our efforts are to work closely with the State Agencies that are already in place within each State. These are the people that make the final decision when it comes to our future. These are also the programs our hard earned dollars are going into fund and therefore a resource we should work with in accomplishing our goals.

We will provide the web space, ring scripting, promotion in our systems and help get things started. You in turn, will need to put in the work on your end to make it successful for us both. The simple overview is included below, but a full contractual agreement will need to be in place between us before your site will be be added into the State by State listings.

THE BENEFITS:

As a State Representative of The Hunting Trail Network, you are joining a well known, highly regarded leader for information on the web concerning our hunting heritage. Your web site will become the home page or hub for your State.

This will bring many visitors to your newly created web site and open many new doors of opportunity to you. As traffic begins to build, the advertising opportunities may start to come in, if you do your work! It takes a good web site and good content to draw in advertisers.

With our 8 years of online service, we have built a good base for you to begin to build from. This is a ground floor opportunity to not only protect our heritage, but also make new friends, and some financial gain too. We do retain some of the overall right to advertising within each State's Web Ring, but most of this revenue is yours to generate and keep!

Our name backs you up and gets you started, your work and effort, contribute towards the preservation of our sport and could be the beginnings of a whole new World of working from home for you.

There are requirements that need to be meet in order to be the State Representative and you must maintain these to continue participation. All rights to the Hunting Trail name, web site (in which you create) and content contained within, become the property of The Hunting Trail Network, and may be taken control of, revoked, renegotiated, or revised at any time, at the sole discretion of our management. We are fair people, but have a forward goal for the project that must be maintained and protected.

A signed contract, along with any fees due will need to be returned within 30 days of accepting the task of State Representative and before the site will be allowed to go live, online but the sooner you get started, the sooner you'll be on the road to success!

THE REQUIREMENTS:

To become a host of The Hunting Trail Network for your State, you will be required to meet and maintain a level of commitment to this project. We are looking for individuals that are serious about making a difference in our future and are willing to commit some time and effort to insure our rights are protected. *Some fees may be involved.

State Representatives will be responsible for maintaining a web site for the State they represent. There are requirements and restrictions that must be followed in the performance of their duties with the web site.

The Hunting Trail will provide State Representatives with 2MB of free space for this web site to be built under. We are working on a new system that will keep these sites somewhat in a template form, but it will not be online for awhile yet. Until such time, the Representative will be required to design, maintain, and manage the web site under our direction and approval. They will also be required to maintain their State Web Ring. This will include:

Keeping the site current and fresh. Making an active effort to keep the visitors to your site interested and informed on issue within your State.
Monitoring the ring to ensure the membership and content guidelines for our ring are enforced.
Assisting new and existing Members with problems within our program.
Attending at least one meeting, via the Internet, per month.
Sending in a detailed report on the current status of your ring on a monthly basis. Guidelines and templates forms will be provided for this.
Learning our web ring system! This will take some effort..... We will help out but this is not for the beginning Web Master. This ring system management will require basic HTML knowledge, understanding of how cgi scripts handle information, and you will need to know your way around in FTP procedures.

3 Programs Available:

Junior Ring Master (JRM): Call 801 381-1706.
The ground floor opportunity to get involved on a turn key program, with potential to grow. We provide all web storage (2 MB), along with the ring scripting. You pay nothing but the work you put out into the State's web site. You are free to sale sponsorships or promotional advertising, but 65%** of all funds generated from the site are due to the Hunting Trail Network. The Junior Ring Master programs are available on a six month contract agreement to interested individuals on a first come first serve basis *. These will consist mainly of a templated site that you are responsible for maintaining the updates for.

Apprentice Ring Master (ARM): $180.00 per year
More robust and more room for freedom on your end. All web services listed above. The Apprentice Ring Master may "lease a copy" of the ring scripting, (hosted on our server only), for $180.00 per year on a yearly contract basis. ARM site owners will collect 50%** of all ad/sponsorship revenues generated from the site during their length of contract. ARM accounts will also receive addition help with site development and interactive features we may help in the implementation of. ***Ring is limited to overall size before upgrade is required. You will have total control over web site development, conditional and upon approval of our staff.

Senior Ring Master (SRM): $500.00 per year
$500.00 per year***. Includes all of the above packages. You keep all but 10%** of the revenue generated from the site. This give a person with the willingness to get out there and beat the streets in a positive manner for our program, stands to reap the rewards right along with us! You will have total control over web site development, conditional and upon approval of our staff.

Additional details apply, and this is just an overview of the program. ALL banners will be managed by our system in which you will have access to the stats for. Some of the conditions listed here:

* JRM site owners, may be bumped from their position for the State by a ARM, or SRM at the end of any 6 month contract period. JRM will however, be given the first opportunity to upgrade to at least the ARM to retain their ring.

** Ad funds and control of all cgi script pages or dynamically generated pages (i.e. Member Listing pages, Back Office Areas, etc., but not limited to, are solely in the control of Rec-Outdoors and these funds are not a part of any of the above agreements at any times.

***SRM Package also contains 5MB of space.
***A JRM site that reaches a total of 500 Members will be required to upgrade to the SRM package to accommodate additional demands and requirements placed on our servers..
